Breakfast anyone?

I love cooking. Last night, my lovely friend Lauren spent the night and this morning I woke up before her, so I decided to make us breakfast! I think I love cooking for people more than actually eating it! It just makes me happy.

So this morning...this was my creation. Coffee (duh), fruit salad, mini waffles and scrambled eggs. Delish!

Art...evolved...again.

Yesterday, I started with a 5x7 canvas. I decided to go for it, and so I just painted my bathroom wall! Hehe. Who knows what is to come...

Every time I have drawn in the past, or tried to, it has come out quite horrific (if you compared a 5-yr-olds "art" and my drawings, you probably wouldn't be able to tell a difference). But tonight, as a new years resolution, I decided to really try. I did. And I had fun, and it came out pretty alright! So I thought I'd share and make a cute little movie...I'm into the whole watching things/art evolve. So this is my first mini project. Thank you iMovie and Photo Booth. Oh, where would we be without Macs? ;)

I saw him tonight in concert...and really, I mean, he is fabulous live. Soooo good!

much needed update...

Well. It has been a while hasn't it! Long over-due.
I'm going to attempt to update the past 6 months in the life of Gabby...since we've talked last, I have been to Quito, Ecuador, my 2nd year into the Go Internship as an Apprentice has started, made a few stateside trips to the lovely Arizona, extra lovely California (a few times...can't stay away!), and a few other places Dallas, Kansas City. Thats the life as far as traveling, and since traveling is my obvious favorite hobby, I will now present to you with a pictorial update of the past 6 months...I just wanted to use the word pictorial. :)

Next time I won't take 6 months to write.

Time goes by way too fast. It seems like it was just September and I was about to walk into my first year of the Internship program at Go International...time has flown by, and it's already June and the last week of Internship. I can't believe it! This year flew by...one thing I've learned is to not just let time fly and be anxious for the 'next big thing' to happen, but learn to enjoy & soak up where you're at. Learn all you can. And don't rush! Because you'll never have tomorrow back. Ok, so that was kind of greeting card-ish, but it's the truth.

Learn all you can. Enjoy your life right now whatever that may look like. :)

a little variety...

One thing that's awesome about Oklahoma...multiple skylines.

I took these driving yesterday (all at the same time). One side of the street you have blue sky, then clouds, then stormy. It's pretty cool you can see three different skies from one place.
